Student Course Evaluation

Hi Everyone,

Please take a few minutes to fill out the SALG survey, using the instructions below. I use your feedback to change the course every year, so please let me know what worked for you and what didn’t work so well. Your advice will help me make the course better for the next group of students (just as this version of the class was guided by advice from the previous students), so please be as thoughtful and as detailed as you can in your comments. Thank you in advance for your insights; I am very much looking forward to what you have to say.

I am hoping that students will complete an Evaluation for each course (if you are taking both courses please take both evaluations).

To complete the survey, you will need to:

* Go to http://www.salgsite.org/student

* Fill in your email address

* Enter the instrument number: 76132

* Provide the instrument password: mcs2460

It should take about 15 minutes to complete, perhaps more if you use the comment boxes extensively. The survey will be open from

Mon Nov 21, 2016 to Sat Dec 31, 2016.

The survey is completely confidential: I will know who filled out the survey, but I will not know which answers are yours.

Thanks for your help and for a wonderful class,

Anthony Collins

Stop Motion Video

What is animation?

Animation is the process of making the illusion of motion and change by means of the rapid display of a sequence of static images that minimally differ from each other.

What is stop motion animation?

Stop motion is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object so that it appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence
